Your responsibilities will center around leading data integration projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with customer expectations. What You'll Do:

  • Lead the development and execution of complex data integration projects to ensure they are completed on time and meet predefined outcomes.
  • Align customer expectations with team deliverables, enhancing customer satisfaction and project success.
  • Write detailed engineering tickets for data extraction or transformation tasks that cannot be automated through the CS-Configured Integration User Interface.
  • Ensure the prioritization of tasks, address any potential obstacles, and secure the timely completion of tasks.
  • Communicate directly with customers via demos, phone calls, and emails to update them on the status of their data integration projects.
  • Document any changes in the project scope to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support the operational objectives of RIVET and our customers.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data integration processes, ensuring consistency and quality across projects.
  • Establish yourself as the go-to knowledge base for internal queries regarding integration details, customer use cases, and potential marketing opportunities.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, IT Management Systems, Software Development, or a related experience in a similar role.
  • At least 5 years of experience working as a technical project manager or in roles that manage customer expectations.
  • Proven experience working directly with customers in a technical sales or customer service role.
  • Experience working with data tools such as Power BI or QuickSight.
  • Familiarity with web integration processes, such as exchanging data as JSON over HTTP requests and responses.
  • Understanding of ETL systems (extract, transform, load).
  • Proven track record of documenting and maintaining comprehensive project documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, including the ability to plan, organize, schedule, and budget efficiently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document project scope changes and communicate directly with customers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to establish oneself as a knowledge base for internal queries regarding integration details and customer use cases.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Proven leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.

    Even Better:

    • Master’s degree in Business or Computer Science.
    • Familiarity with writing SQL and architecting and managing databases.
    • Experience with backend web application and data pipeline programming.
    • Ability to quickly program bespoke Typescript integrations or experience developing Typescript/Node applications.
    • Strong business-to-engineer fluency, especially in industries requiring complex integrations.
    • Ability to manage parallel projects effectively, particularly in logistics or similar field.
    • Experience working in customer success roles at developer or engineer-facing product companies.
